Middle Wallop
Easter Monday 17th April
Fun Flying & Trimming day
(Trial Event)
Subsequent to the meeting held today with the Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) of Middle Wallop it has been agreed that the above event can take place subject to us all abiding by the terms agreed by your representatives.
Given the MET forecast that the military have for Monday (this may alter and the following may be changed), the area for model flying will be restricted to the area to the South of the white markers before runway 27. We must make every effort to confine our members and models to this area especially when aircraft movements are imminent or in progress.
There are aircraft movements planned throughout the day. Model control will be in communication with full size Pilots by mobile phone (on ground) and radio (in aircraft) . Model flying may be stopped at any time without any prior warning.
Those who feel that this is not fair are requested NOT to attend. Those who do not abide by the organisers instructions will be asked to leave without further discussion and will NOT receive any refund of gate entry charges.
ALL THOSE
ATTENDING WHO FLY OR OPERATE MODEL
AIRCRAFT OR EQUIPMENT MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE BMFA
This our one chance to show that we can operate with other airfield users in a safe and coordinated way.
